	Exhibitions are put on to showcase or to bring to patrons attention books that are available on particular subjects or by particular authors. Exhibitions are also put on to commemorate different events.

Summer Extension Activities

Click to view enlarged image	Provide educational recreation for students who are on vacation during the summer. These activities take the forms of Spanish workshops, crotchet, making of soft toys, reading competitions, etc. The activities are aimed at maintaining a vibrant membership and attracting new members to the library.
Story Hours Are organised especially on Saturdays for the children of the Juvenile department as an added activity to promote the benefits of reading aloud and to highlight books in the collection that the children can read on their own.	Class Visits To bring to students attention the role of the library and its benefits and to encourage them to become members of the library.
Video Shows These are mainly educational shows which are staged for the library patrons.
